Most of the meals were very good. I don't remember the names of the restaurants, but ALL MEALS in XIAN were outstanding. Tracy (our guide) did an excellent job helping us choose local specialties.

ALL GUIDES were very good, had a great English, and a lot of knowledge. Special thanks to Tracy in Xian,and Jessy in Gulin. These two were just excellent!

All drivers were excellent, had a great attitude, and the cars were kept clean all the time.

Once again, overall we had an amazing experience in China, and looking forward to coming back again.

  Dear Joan,

All of the guides spoke adequate English, and most were eager to learn new words, proper pronounciations, and differences in pronounciation between words as used by British or American guests.

Although some of the vehicles were better than others, all were quite adequate. The vans were excellent, and all of the drivers were responsible, helpful, and courteous. The air conditioning was wonderful.

We would like especially to complement Sammy Kuang in Guilin. She did an excellent job, and went beyond just doing her job. We enjoyed her company. She is a young woman who really knows how to go a step beyond to make her guests welcome, comfortable, and meet their needs. Little things that were not necessary, we found her constantly doing. ie. Not only supplying us with two bottles of water a day, but being concerned if they were not cold! We'd give her the award for being the best guide of the trip.

Linda in Tian also did an excellant job, and met our plane, even as it was five hours late from Beijing. Being met in a strange city at 11:30 at night was most welcome, and eased our concerns upon our very late arrival. Her comment was bright and cheery, "That is my job!"

Our guide, Henry, in Wuhan was extreamly knowledgeable and we felt well taken care of there also.

Our trip to China was made so memorable by your service. Our guides made it easy to negotiate the cities, visit tourist attractions, understand the sites and their history. Obstacles such as travel arrangements, safe hotels and restaurants, overcoming the language barrier, and understanding local customs was enhanced by the service and our guides. As my husband and I constituted our entire "group" we were pleased when the guides were willing to help us with small needs. Aquiring aspirin, and an extra suitcase to name two such additional helps.

We would highly recommend this service to anyone interested in seeing China, especially for first time vistors. Our fourteen day tour included many sites, our highlights would be the Li River Cruise and the bicycle ride into country, the ethinic show in Guilin, and the acrobatic show in Shanghai. But we cannot forget the Terra Catta Warriors nor the cruise of the Three Rivers Gorges of the Yangtze river, also wonderful. The only item we might have left off totally was the Peking Opera in Beijing. Although we had great seats, and were well cared for, the performance was not of the quality or standards of all the other performances we attended on the trip.

We saw so much, loved the Great Wall, the museums, cities, etc. Thank you, we would love to recommend your service to anyone.

In response to your evaluation, I'm only able to provide comments for the Yangtze cruise:-

1) Meals - very good, with a tasty selection of both western and chinese foods.

2) Guides - all guides, in attitude, pronunciation and knowledge were excellent and were happy to answer the many questions from individual tourists. The guide on the bus for the 'Caves' tour was able to add a personal touch to the information she provided, which was greatly appreciated.

3) Cars - were exceptionally clean and service from drivers was very considerate.

The whole tour was memorable. The inclusion of the 'Lesser Gorges' tour was a delightful opportunity to appreciate more closely the beauty of the Yangtze. The Caves tour bus ride provided a small window of opportunity to better appreciate the culture and daily lives of local Chinese people and how this is changing as the Three Gorges Dam Project nears completion.

We were very impressed with the patience and dedication that your guides displayed and their obvious concern to ensure that we were well taken care of and that arrangements for when the guides left us were in place correctly so that we would be taken care of.

Both drivers were great and the cars were the best we had over the whole trip. I would use your service again just for the comfortable, clean cars, let alone the excellent guides that we had.

Your tour organization was excellent. The best meal that I would
recommend to anyone was the lunch on second day in Beijing
after visit of the Great Wall. Guides and drivers were good, cars were excellent and clean. Overall, the tour was outstanding. We really loved it. :)
