1st Day: Arrival in Hongkong
Arriving in Hongkong, please go to the hotel we have arranged for you on your own. The rest of the day is left for you to revitalize yourself from the jet lag or to explore the modern city on your own.

2nd Day: Hongkong  (B)
No scheduled programs for today. We recommend you take a half day to cover the highlight sightseeing spots like the peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market.

3rd Day: Hongkong - Guangzhou  (B)
Head for Guangzhou by express train in the afternoon by yourself, the train ride takes about 1.5 hours. The train tickets from Hongkong to Guangzhou will be bought by yourselves at the railway station, which is quite easy. Our guide in Guangzhou will meet you at the railway station with comfortable private transfer to your hotel.

4th Day: Guangzhou  (B+L)
The scheduled program will cover all the highlights of the southern modern city, includes the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Five Ram Statue, the Ancestral Temple of Chen Family, the Qingping Market and the Shamian Island.

5th Day: Guangzhou - Lhasa  (B)
Head for Lhasa by morning flight, which is the highest located city in the world with the attitude of 3,650 meters above the sea level. Professional local tour guide will expect you at the airport with comfortable private airport-hotel transfer. The rest hours of the day will be all on your own to adapt yourself to the high attitude.

6th Day: Lhasa  (B+L)
Make the most of the day by the in-depth religious adventure to the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a local Tibetan family.

7th Day: Lhasa
  (B+L)
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Jokhang Temple, the perfect mixture of Han and Tibetan style both in the architectures and in the rituals of the Religion; the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.

8th Day: Lhasa - Gyangtse  (B+L)
Travel to Gyangtse overland. For those who are always in search of a in-depth touch of a genuine Tibeten culture and its unique landscape, you will enjoy the adventure to the heart of the Tibet to Gyangtze, Shigatse and all the way up close to the Everest Base Camp. Stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake - the holy lake. Upon arrival in Gyangtze, have a visit to the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Check in at your hotel.

9th Day: Gyangtse - Shigatse  (B+L)
Travel by private vehicle to Shigatse and check in at your hotel. Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery which has a history of over 500 years and the largest monastery in Shigatse area. The following important visit is to the New Palace of Panchen Lama, also known as the Summer Palace of Panchen Lama.

10th Day: Shigatse - Lhasa  (B+L)
Back to Lhasa overland and check into your hotel.

11th Day: Lhasa - Xian  (B+L)
Head for Xian by flight. Upon arrival, be met by your local professional travel buddy. The rest of the day is free to you.

12th Day: Xian  (B+L)
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provicial History Museum after lunch and a brief period of rest.

13th Day: Xian - Beijing  (B)
You are suggested to visit the City Wall, the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore the Bazaar near the Mosque by yourselves. Head for Beijing by overnight soft sleeper train.

14th Day: Beijing  (B+L)
Your train will arrive in Beijing in the early morning, our guide will pick you up at the railway station and check in at your hotel for breakfast. You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world; the Forbidden City - the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple.

15th Day: Beijing  (B)
Full free day is left for you. The charm of the captical city awaits your discovery.

You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. The visits continue to the Ming Tomb and the Summer Palace in the afternoon after lunch.

17th Day: Departure from Beijing  (B)
