1st Day: Arrival in Beijing
You will be met upon arrival at Beijing Capital Airport and check into your hotel. You are free to arrange the activities in the left hours of the day for yourself. No escorted tour is scheduled.

2nd Day: Beijing  (B+L+D)
You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world; the Forbidden City - the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - used to be the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as welcome dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera of China) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner.

3rd Day: Beijing  (B+L)
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent Sichuan food. The visits continue to the Sacred Road and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.

4th Day: Beijing - Xian  (B+L)
Visit the Qing Royal Garden - the Summer Palace and the lovely pandas in Beijing Zoo, as the grand finale of your Beijing trip. Head for Xian by flight, upon arrival, your professional tour guide will expect you at the airport with private comfortable airport-hotel transfer. And be transferred to check in at the well selected hotel.

5th Day: Xian  (B+L+D)
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Have a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, we arrange the Dumpling Banquet which is unique in Xian, the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is scheduled afterwards.

6th Day: Xian  (B+L)
Visit the Provincial History Museum which houses large collections of precious culture relics. After enjoy the a la carte lunch, visit the Great Mosque and City Wall in the afternoon.

7th Day: Xian - Lhasa   (B+D)
On the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi if time permits. Heading for Lhasa by flight where the altitude is 3,650 meters above sea level. Be met by our local expert travel buddy upon arrival at the Gongga Airport. Check into the best hotel in Lhasa. Take time to adapt yourself to the high altitude, no sightseeing arranged in the afternoon. Welcome dinner will be served at a top end local Sichuan cuisine restaurant, a la carte style.

8th Day: Lhasa (B+L+D)
Make the most of the day by the in-depth religious adventure to the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a local Tibetan family. Dinner is served at your hotel so the extra drive and energy will be saved for tomorrow.

9th Day: Lhasa  (B+L+D)
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Jokhang Temple, the perfect mixture of Han and Tibetan style both in the architectures and in the rituals of the Religion; the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Enjoy your dinner at your hotel.

10th Day: Lhasa - Lanzhou  (B)
After haveing breakfast at the hotel, take an overnight soft sleeper train to Lanzhou.

11th Day: Lanzhou 
Arrive in Lanzhou at noon. Pick you up at Lanzhou railway station and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Waterwheel Garden and the Gansu Provincial Museum

12th Day: Lanzhou - Chongqing   (B+L+D)
Visit the Binglingsi Grottoes. Take a flight to Chongqing. After having a rich buffet dinner at 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze, check in at the deluxe German-made cruise ship to stay overnight.

13th Day: Chongqing - Fengdu  (B+L+D)
The cruise ship sets sail at 08:00, therefore, your adventurous Yangtze cruise journey begins. In the afternoon, the cruise company will arrange the first shore excursion to Fengdu County, known as the Ghost City.

14th Day: Badong -  Xiling Gorge - Sandouping  (B+L+D)
As the cruise continues today, you will get to Shennong Stream, one of the most outstanding parts of the Small Three Gorges. To experience the ancient way of appreciating the wonders of the nature will be the highlight of today, including the hanging coffins, which remains a enigma even today, you will be likely accompanied by a guide of Tujia nationality at this part.

15th Day: Sandouping  (B+L+D)
Conclude your romantic Yangtze River cruise by journeying to the grand Three Gorges Dam Project site.

16th Day: Wuhan - Shanghai  (B+L)
At 12:00 arrive in Wuhan. Then please follow the advice to dismbark the cruise ship.  Our local tour guide will meet you at the port and take you to visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Then see you off by the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrvial, be met and transferred to the hotel.

17th Day: Shanghai  (B+L+D)
The whole day tour include the visit to the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and a local family. The Farewell Dinner is specially arranged at Central Hotel as the fitting finale to your discovery of China, the restaurant Wang Bao He in the hotel has a history of over 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. You will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.
