1^st Day: Arrival in Katmandu
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by local travel expert at the terminal of the airport with comfortable private airport-hotel transfer. The rest hours of the day if any will be all on your own to explore the city or to revitalize yourself at the hotel from the long flight journey.

2^nd Day: Katmandu   (B+L)
Have a lively city package to the unspoiled religious city - Kathmandu which will cover the Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath Pagoda, the Buddhanilkantha Temple and the Bouddhanath Stupa.

3^rd Day: Katmandu   (B+L)
Kathmandu city safari covers the highlight of this mysterious country along the southern side of the unsurmountable Himalaya, which are the Pashupatinath Temple and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and the Golden Temple, one of the most famous Vihar in Katmandu valley.

4^th Day: Katmandu - Zhangmu (B+L)
Take car to Kodari & China-Nepal Friendship Bridge - the border between the two countries. Our guide will pick you up at the China side of Kodari. Continue driving to the hotel in Zhangmu.

5^th Day: Zhangmu - Dingri  (B+L)
Continue the adventure to the bordering town - Dingri and check in at your hotel.

6^th Day: Dingri - Everest Base Camp - Dingri   (B+L)
Continue the visit to the Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbuk Monastery, which was founded by Nyingmapa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and the highest located monastery in the world. Drive back to Dingri.

7^th Day: Dingri - Shigatse   (B+L)
Continue the adventure from the bordering town Dingri to Shigatse and check in at your hotel. Visit the Sakya Monastery, which was the capital of Sakya Reign and Lhatse city on the way.

8^th Day: Shigatse - Gyangtse  (B+L)
The professional guided tour at Shigatse will cover the Tashilunpo Monastery which has a history of over 500 years and the largest monastery in Shigatse area. The following important visit is to the New Palace of Panchen Lama, also known as the Summer Palace of Panchen Lama. Travel to Gyangtze by car and check in at your hotel.

9^th Day: Gyangtse - Tsetang   (B+L)
Have a visit to the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street in the morning. Overland travel to Tsetang and check into your hotel.

10^th Day: Tsetang - Lhasa   (B+L)
Travel to the bank of Yarlung Tsangpo River by car. Then take the ferry with local Tibetans to visit the Samye Monastery which is believed to be the first Monastery in Tibet with a history of over 1,200 years. The afternoon highlights are the visit to the Trandruk Monastery and the Yumbu Lakang Palace. Continue the journey to Lhasa and check into your hotel.

11^th Day: Lhasa   (B+L)
Make the most of the day by the in-depth religious adventure to the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a local Tibetan family.

The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Jokhang Temple, the perfect mixture of Han and Tibetan style both in the architectures and in the rituals of the Religion; the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.

13^th Day: Lhasa - Xian (B)
Head for Xian by flight. Upon arrival, be met by your local professional tour guide. The remain period is left for you.

 

14^th Day: Xian (B+L)
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Have a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum after lunch and a brief period of rest.

15^th Day: Xian - Shanghai  (B+L)
Please set the whole day schedule on your own.  You're recommended to visit the City Wall and the Great Mosque this morning. In the afternoon, you could take shuttle bus to the airport and board the flight to Shanghai on your own. Upon arrival, please arrange the airport-hotel transfer by yourselves. We recommend Bund to get a first impression of Shanghai.

You are expected to explore the city on your own. We recommend the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden.
