1st Day : Arrival in Beijing

On your arrival in Beijing, the English speaking guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest day is at your leisure, so that you can have a good rest to recover from the long time journey.

2nd Day: Beijing (B+L+D)
In the morning, the pre-tour briefing will be presented in the hotel, which is very essential to your coming tour. Here you will meet the other members in your group who will travel with you in the following days. After that, your memorable China tour will start with the visit to the vast Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Just walk across the road to enter the splendid Forbidden City, the most complete complex of Imperial Palace reserved until now, where the Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties governed the country over 500 years. In the afternoon, continue the city tour to another highlight in Beijing, the Temple of Heaven. Ending the first day sightseeing, the renowned Beijing Roast Duck Banquet valued at CNY122.00 net per person will be served at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Acrobatic Show.

Today we will drive beyond Beijing to have a short hiking on the Badaling section of the Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient genius. What is a must to see once you come to China. The lunch will be arranged at a well-chosen local popular Sichuan food restaurant to reward your great energy lost in the morning. Then transfer to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.

4th Day: Beijing - Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden for the royalties' relaxation, and the Giant Pandas in the Beijing Zoo in the morning. After lunch, see you off by the flight to Xian, another ancient capital for over 1000 years with credible historical sites. You will be met at Xian airport by the local guide and transferred to check in at the hotel, where the a la carte dinner valued at CNY60.00 net per person will be served.

After breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to visit the so-called eighth human wonders in the world, the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To ensure that you could have a good appetite, drive back by highway to downtown to have a rich a la carte lunch at CNY80.00 net per person at a Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the well preserved ancient City Wall in the afternoon. This evening we will arrange the local specialty, the Dumpling Banquet at the splendid Tang Dynasty Palace, after which you will be entertained by the fabulous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show at the same place.

Visit the Provincial History Museum in the morning, which holds a large collection of unearthed historic relics. After enjoyed your a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person at a fine Cantonese cuisin restaurant, go on to visit the Great Mosque in the afternoon. Then you will take a flight to Dunhuang today and your Dunhuang guide will meet you and transfer you to the local best hotel.

Day: Dunhuang - Turpan (B+L+D)
Today you will visit the Mogao Grottoes, and you will experience a short camel ride along the Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the precious oasis of the desert, the Crescent Lake. After dinner, you will take the soft sleeper train to Turpan.

8th Day: Turpan (B+L+D)
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a finest hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Jiaohe Ruins, which is the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, and then go ahead to visit a local Uygur family and have a lunch there. In the afternoon the journey leads you to the underground Great Wall - the Karez Well and the Astana-Karakhoja Ancient Tombs.

Day: Turpan - Urumqi (B+L+D)
The first stop of today is the most valuable Buddhist cave in Turpan - the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, and then you will visit the Gaochang Ruins, along the way you will pass by the Flaming Hill. Transfer to Urumqi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel.

10th Day: Urumqi - Shanghai (B+L)
Take a morning flight to the large metropolis, Shanghai. Be met and transferred to check in at the hotel. At the beginning of your Shanghai city tour, visit the Xin Tian Di, a newly developed district full of the old flavor of Shanghai city. It is a place assembling dinning, entertainment, culture, fashion, shopping and tourism. You could choose your fancied café or restaurant to enjoy your dinner.

Visit the Shanghai Museum which is famous for its large collection of rare cultural piece, followed by the visit to the graceful Yuyuan Garden of Chinese traditional style. You will have some free time to have a stroll along the Bund to have a taste of the elegance of the old Shanghai city. All of the eye-catching sightseeing ends here. The Dinner is held at your hotel. Upon returning to the hotel our tour guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.
