15-Day Picturesque China Tours  

1^st Day: Arrival in Shanghai
You'll be met upon arrival at the airport with comfortable private transfer and check into your hotel. The left hours of the day are for free individual activities. No scheduled program is arranged.

2^nd Day: Shanghai  (B+L+D)
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The Farewell Dinner is arranged at Central Hotel as the fitting finale to your discovery of China, the restaurant Wang Bao He in the hotel has a history of over 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. You will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

3^rd Day: Shanghai - Huangshan  (B) 
No escorted tour is avaiable this morning and you could explore the metropolis on your pace. Head for Huangshan city by flight and be met upon arrival with comfortable airport-hotel transfer. Have a good rest to save enegery for the next day's climb.

4^th Day: Huangshan  (B+L) 
This morning, you'll reach the foot of Huangshan mountain after a brief transfer. Board the cable car for the summit, at the same time enjoy the fascinating scenery surrounding you. The highlight sights covers the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, the Flying-over Rock and the Bright Summit. You will spend the night at the hotel in the mountain.

 

5^th Day:  Huangshan - Suzhou  (B+L+D) 
The Huangshan tour continues this morning. You couldn't  miss the sights of the  Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and the Xihai Grand Canyon. Lunch is also served on the mountain.  Then board the cable car to reach the foot of the mountaiin and transfer back to Huangshan city. Stroll along the Tunxi Old Street. Then board the overnight soft sleeper train to Garden city Suzhou.

6^th Day:  Suzhou  (B+L) 

The train will pull in the station eary this morning and be met upon arrival with comfortable transfer. After having the breakfast at the hotel, start a tour to the Tiger Hill, the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Garden of the Master of the Nets.

7^th Day:  Suzhou - Zhouzhuang - Suzhou   (B+L) 

Head for the famous water town, Zhouzhuang by car. Walk around the Hall of Shen's residence and see the local residence along the bank of the river. Then get back to Suzhou.

8^th Day: Suzhou - Hangzhou   (B) 
No escorted tour is available this morning and explore the city on your own pace. Board an afternoon soft seat train to Hangzhou and be met upon arrival with comfortable transfer.

 

 
 

9^th: Hangzhou - Xian   (B+L+D) 
Start a tour to the Six Harmonies Pagoda and the Lingyin Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion). Stroll along the West Lake with its fair legendry. Head for Xian by flight and be met upon arrival with comfortable airport-hotel transfer. This evening, you will be treated with a luxurious buffet dinner at the hotel at your convinence.

10^th: Xian   (B+L+D) 

You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall after lunch. In the evening, we will arrange the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the splendid Tang Dynasty Palace. (Add: No.75, Chang'an Road, Xian)

11^th: Xian   (B+L) 
Have the last Xian stop to the Provincial History Museum. After a la carte lunch is served at a famous restaurant, visit the Great Mosque and a local family.

12^th: Xian - Beijing   (B+L) 
Head for Beijing by flight and and be met upon arrival with comfortable airport-hotel transfer. Visit the Summer Palace.

13^th Day: Beijing   (B+L+D)
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent meal -Sichuan food, for lunch. The visits continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. You will sample Cantonese cuisine for dinner at a top restaurant in the Wangfujing Street, a la carte style.

14^th Day: Beijing   (B+L+D)
You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world; the Forbidden City - the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as Welcome Dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner.

15^th Day: Departure from Beijing   (B)
Board your homebound flight. Comfortable hotel-airport transfer is arranged according to your flight schedule.
