You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest city squares in the world; the Forbidden City - the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Summer Palace. Then take the soft sleeper train to Datong.

3rd Day: Datong (B+L)
Arrive in Datong in the morning, be met at the platform and transferred to the hotel where the breakfast will be served. Then take a tour to the Yungang Grottoes, the Huayan Monastery, Shanhua Monastery and the Nine Dragon Screen.

4th Day: Datong - Beijing (B+L+D)
Today, your tour will be filled with the the oldest and highest wooden structure in China, the Sakyamuni Wooden Pagoda at Fuoguang Temple in Yingxian County and the Hanging Monastery. Take the overnight soft sleeper train back to Beijing.

You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent Sichuan cuisine lunch. The visits continue to the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as welcome dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera of China) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner.

6th Day: Departure from Beijing (B)
Board your homebound flight after visiting the Temple of Heaven. Comfortable hotel-airport transfer is arranged according to your flight schedule.
