Daily Itinerary Briefings


1^st Day: Arrival in Hongkong
Arriving in Hongkong, please go to the hotel we have arranged for you on your own. The rest of the day is left for you to revitalize yourself from the jet lag or to explore the modern city on your own.

2^nd Day: Hongkong   (B)
Full day is free and we only book the hotel with breakfast for you. You are recommended to have a half-day Hongkong Island Tour. The visits cover the peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District then to the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley Market. After lunch, transfer to Pier to take Star Ferry to Kowloon side, walk along the waterfront promenade back to Hotel. Afternoon is for free individual activities.

3^rd Day: Hongkong - Guilin   (B) 
Hold the morning activities on your own. The air ticket will be given to you before you leave for Guilin by yourselves. Your local professional travel buddy will expect you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service.

4^th Day: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin  (B+L)
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight of today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will then be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. If you are less skillful of riding a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. Transfer back to Guilin. (Tip: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can hardly meet your expectation, TT suggests you have enough breakfast at the hotel this morning.)

5^th Day: Guilin - Shanghai  (B+L+D)
Continue the highlight scenic tour to Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Head for Xian by flight and the local guide will expect you at the exit of the airport with comfortable airport-hotel transfer. The special flavor dinner is served at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

6^th Day: Shanghai - Suzhou  (B+L)
Today your impression of Shanghai will be the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and a local family. Head for Suzhou by a soft seat train, your local professional travel buddy will expect you with comfortable transfer service.

7^th Day: Suzhou - Luoyang    (B+L)
After having the breakfast at the hotel, start a tour to the Tiger Hill, the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Garden of the Master of the Nets. Then board an overnight soft sleeper train to Luoyang.

8^th Day: Luoyang - Shaolin Temple - Luoyang  (L)
Upon arrival your local professional travel buddy will expect you at Luoyang Railway Station with comfortable transfer service. An excited day begins! The scheduled tour will present the Chariot and Horse Pits, the White Horse Temple and the reputable Shaolin Temple which is famous for the typical Chinese GongFu.  You will be surely interested in learning a bit. Breakfast is on your own.

9^th Day : Luoyang - Xian  (B+L)
Without any doubt, you won't miss a visit to the Longmen Caves which regard as one of the famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China. Then you will head for Shanghai by a soft seat train. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local professional tour guide, and transfer to the hotel.

10^th Day: Xian  (B+L+D)
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, we arrange the Dumpling Banquet which is unique in Xian; the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is scheduled afterwards.

11^th Day: Xian  (B+L)
Morning tour allow you to stop at the Provincial History Museum which is a grand complex of buildings imitating the architecture style of the Tang Dynasty. Having the a la carte lunch at well-chosen restaurant, keep on the tour to the City Wall and the Great Mosque. Free time will be given there to visit the flourishing Bazaar.

12^th Day: Xian - Beijing    (B+L+D) 
Head for Beijing by morning flight and your local professional travel buddy will expect you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service. You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest cities squares in the world; the Forbidden City - the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as Welcome Dinner at a well-known restaurant. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner.

13^th Day: Beijing   (B+L)
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great Wall to have a decent meal -Sichuan food, for lunch. The visits continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.

14^th Day: Departure from Beijing   (B)
The only sight of today duration in the capital city is the Summer Palace, if time permits.
