Was wondering how I could get from Kathmandu to Lhasa-really looking for the fastest option, but wouldnt mind some scenery. Any thoughts on the following as well...?

How long would it take?

How much would it be?

How long is it by train from Lhasa to Beijing, and are there interesting sights along the way?

The fastest way is undoubtedly the flight. u can fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa in one or two hours, otherwise u have to travel on coaches for several days.
The railway from Lhasa to Beijing has not been opened to public yet. It will starts operation in July,1st.
