 Hi all,

I understand that i need to go through a travel agent for the application of my Travel permit to Tibet.

I will like to find out whether anyone happen to know of any reliable travel agents in Chengdu that can help me obtain a Travel permit so that i can catch one of the public bus into tibet. This is because i am backpacking with some friends from China and i am the only foreigner in the group. :(

If not, is there any other ways to go about entering tibet legally or not so legally without taking up expensive tour packages or purchasing air tickets to fly into Lhasa?

HI,

You need to have legal Tibet permits to do so,you can write to tibetfit.service@gmail.com to ask for these services.
