 How long does it take to obtain the needed permits to get into Tibet once you have reached Chengdu? I know you can start the process in advance, but if i showed up tommorow to Chengdu and started the process then, how long would it take? Thanks

If you contact tibetfit.serivice@gmail.com, you can get it done by today then fly by tomorrow. This was my experience in earlier May last year, I contact them in the morning, they able to get it done by afternoon and fly me to Lhasa by tomorrow morning.

where is this agency? Chengdu?
Once you get this permit, can you travel by yourself, or have to go with the organized group? Thanks.
