 Ni hao, everybody!

Has anybody been to Benzilan half way between Zhongdian and Deqin on the Yunnan-Tibetan border?
If so, who knows if the Dongzhulin Si, monastery, offers sleeping possibilities? Has anybody seen the mask dancing in this monastery - is it worth to visit? I read that it is one of the most beautiful temples in Yunnan, is this true?
Is it possible to enter Tibet on this part of the border? Maybe without permit, or are there strict checkpoints? Are there any other places to stay?
