 Flying's too easy people! Im trying to get from shanghai to tibet, but as i have said, i want a bit of an adventure. I have worked out how to get to kunming and i hear there is a bus to tibet. Any1 know how long, how far, and how much it is from knuming to tibet, NOT flying.

i can offer u a route from kunming to tibet:
long-distance bus from kunming to lijiang:RMB150*2=300yuan
then going along the highway from yunnan to tibet.
there is no direct bus on this road, u may need to change frequently. RMB800-1200yuan. take care!
