 I have known that there are many local families in Tibet have opened their houses for the travelers as hostels, especially in Lhasa. I think it is really a good chance to approach the local Tibetans.
Are these hostels expensive? how much do they cost? Are they safe and in good conditions or not?

Hi Helen, I know that Tibet private hostels are very popular these days, the most famous and distinctive in Lhasa is around the Barkhor Street, which are distinctive Tibetan houses.
