 2007 Lhasa shoton Festival has been planned to be held from Aug.12th to Aug.18th this year.

Shoton Festival is one of the most fetivals of Tibet, which is also the peak time of travel. The opening ceremony will be held in the Square of potala Palace. The most excellent activities to see during the festival is the Buddha Unveiling Festival in Drepung Monastery, Tibetan Opera performances in Norbulingka, and the traditional singing and dancing, horseracing performances in the Zongjialukang park.
