 Hi

I want to visit Tibet for a month on my one month tourist visa.

I cannot afford these expensive tours for $1000 etc.

I want backpacking style. How to get into tibet without a tour/ or with a cheap bogus tour?

You need a Tibet Travel Permit to enter Tibet if you hold a foreign country passport. The Permit can only be applied by travel agencies for their clients.
Maybe you can find a reliable travel agency to book this service only.
