 Hi All, A couple of us are planning to travel from Lhasa to Kathmandu by road, and would like to know more details about this route, and any help you might be able to provide. We plan to be in Lhasa around the 27th Aug., and have a total of 6 days to reach KTH, making various stops on the way to visit the monasteries.

Do you think it is a realistic plan? and if so, what are the modes of transport / costs / requirements? Any recomendations for renting a jeep / car? Agencies?
