hi, i am from england travelling in china and i have recently purchased a permit to get into tibet, which will enable me entry to lhasa from china. i have been told i will need to organise a tour with a guide to travel outside of the city. does anyone have any information for someone looking to travel on the friendship highway from lhasa to Everest base camp but wants to do it cheaply, preferably without a guide and make stops on the way. OR alternatively has information about a cheap but safe way to acheive this goal.

You can contact tibetfit, tibetfit.service@gmail.com , we rent a 4500 landcruiser with them without tour guide to Everest. Their tibetan driver and landcruiser is good.

how long did you spend with cruiser and how much did it cost?
