Hi, You can go to Chengdu first, and get the permit and ticket there. Then take a train to Tibet! |

If you don't want to take the train, you can also go to Yunnan first.

o, thank you sooo much! I will go to Chengdu first and take the fantastic Tibet railway. But I have another question. Once I am in Tibet, can I go to Everest Base Camp easily? How about the weather in EBC now? Can I climb or just wandering around? Thanks for any information! |

Yes, of course you can go to EBC by 4WD or any other vehicle you may rent in Lhasa. You can't climb it easily! First, you must be in a professional group. Second, you have to register before climbing and pay over 5000 USD per person. etc. etc... |

Money is not a promblem if I do have chance to climb. But I'm not professional at all! What a pity.
