The cold Winter of Tibet is a dull season for the tourists, but worshippers and pilgrimages are still more crowded during this reletively spare time due to the less farmimg work.

When entering Potala, Jokhang, Sakya and other monasteries or sacred spots, spectacular scenes of prostrating and kowtowing are performed from the dawn to the dark, rather impressing!

The temperature in Lhasa is not so low now, the lowest is munus 5 centigrade (22 F),the highest is about 15 centi. (59 F) more or less. But when saturday comes, the highest is only 4 (39 F). You can go to 'Lhasa weather' on the right of this website to look at the weather in the following days.

That's true, many travelers think winter is not a good time to visit Tibet. But I have learned some news that 'Traveling to Tibet' has become a hot in Shanghai. they choose so because the price on tour is decresed almost a half and more time is available. The tourist resources in Tibet are getting better and diversified in Tibet acturally. So may be you can think about it for a change!

Lhasa,Nyingchi,Shigatse, Shannan, these 'sunnuy cities' are also the best choice for traveling in Tibet. The sun at this time shines more quietly and comfortable really. The temperature is not so low in winter as we think.

Wise decision, really!
Of Course Why sandwiching in the crowd and waiting for a long line to book a ticket?
If you have some surprise in the tour, don't forget to share it here, pls.
