i heard there is a major renovation in Lhasa city/Potala Palace (it will last until 2006?). Does anyone know is it true, and how serious it is ? It is a major eye-sore (not even able have a non-obstructed view of the city/palace); or just small scale/room-by-room closure ?? thx in advance |

The renovations are constantly going all the time, it won't influence sightseeing. Don't worry.
