Hello ! We are a young couple from Belgium, going from China to Nepal by crossing Tibet. Because we are backpackers on a tight budget, we found a very cheap 5-day tour, from Lhassa to the Nepali border, for 200 euros per person if we are 4 people. This price includes: car, driver, guide, and permits for everyone! The tour includes: 2 days visiting Lhassa, then 3 days visiting the Yamdrok lake, the Kumpum stupa in Gyantse, Shigatse, then arrival in Zhangmu and the Nepal border. Our dates are flexible: we would like to do this tour between the 5th and the 21st of October (date our Chinese visa expires). We are ideally looking for two other people. We heard that Nepal was in some ways more authentic than Tibet now, because of what the Chinese government has been doing there. So don’t hesitate to join us if you also want to see Nepal ! Let us know if you’re interested! |
