I am interested in climbing mountains, and I have climbed many big mountains, such as Mt. Tai, Mt. Hua, Mt. Huang and other famous mountains of China. However, to my regret is that I have never been to Tibet, climbing Tibet mountains. Tibet is a dream for me! Honestly, I have no any experience of climbing in Tibet because of the peculiar Tibet weather. It is said it is very hard to tour or live in Tibet, then even harder to climb? I have known there are many people who climbed Tibet mountains. Who would like to supply me more suggestions?

The Tibet plateau is surrounded by the highest mountain ranges, the Himalaya to the south, the Karakoram to the west, and the Kunlun to the north. Smaller mountain ranges block it off in the east with internal provinces of China. With an average height of 4,000 meters above sea level, Tibet encompasses some of the world's highest mountains. Mt. Everest towers over the region. Four mountains exceed altitudes of 8,000 meters (26,240 feet). Thirty-eight mountains exceed altitudes of 7,000 meters (22,960 feet). This "Roof of the World" is the dreamland of mountaineers and adventurers. But the problem is that many people will experience a altitude sick when first go there. So if you want to go there, just exercise more and has a strong body. |
