We returned home safely on July 4th just in time for our annual U.S.A. Independence Day celebration. I wanted to say again what a wonderful time we all had in China. You and your staff were excellent to work with. All the guides are very friendly, knowledgeable and they made sure we had a good time. In particular Jack (Beijing) and Nikki (Xian) did a fantastic job. They possessed in depth information about their cities and delivered the information in an interesting manner with very good spoken English. The other 2 guides also knew their cities well and worked hard to ensure a smooth tour.

  Thank you for your e-mail - I have only just returned home, which explains my delay in replying. We were absolutely satisfied with our tour of Xian and the guide, Nicky, was excellent. Her English was very good and altogether it was a wonderful experience - please tell Nicky that her three middle aged English ladies will never forget where the female lion is placed - because women are always right!

  I would like to start off by saying that we truly enjoyed every aspect of our trips booked with Education Tours. We enjoyed each city and found that all our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and informed. I do have two suggestions for the future that I think would help to increase overseas bookings. I would recommend that you ask former clients to allow themselves to be used as references either via e-mail or telephone so as a potential client could contact someone like me to ask for themselves how the tour was and to make sure that they can be confident in booking with you. The only other comment about our trip is that when we arrived in Chengdu and needed our tickets to Lhasa and Tibet travel permit, I think that when we arrived at the hotel they should have already been waiting there for us or otherwise a message saying to call to arrange for a delivery time. It was very nerve wracking to arrive and the hotel not to have any information about our tickets and to have to call you in Xian to find out what was happening. Im sure they would have been delivered eventually anyhow, but it was nearly the end of the day and we hadnt heard any information and had a very early flight the next morning.

  The arrangements that you made for our tour to Xian worked well for us. The service provided by Linda, the guide, was exceptionally fine. She was punctual, courteous, very articulate; and adapted the tour to our wishes without any problem. The car provided was clean and the driver skilled, polite and accommodating. We enjoyed the sights and the historical background provided by Linda . The choice of restaurants provided very enjoyable meals. All in all - it was a very positive experience. Thank you for your work on our behalf. It was a pleasure to do business with you.

  I AM BACK IN MONTANA. THE WEATHER IS VERY COOL. NO HUMIDITY, IT IS NICE. WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME IN BEIJING. OUR GUIDE, HELEN, WAS A DREAM. SHE IS THE SAME AGE AS BROOKE, AND THEY BECAME FRIENDS. I KNOW YOU PROBABLY ARE VERY CAREFUL IN WHO YOU HIRE AS GUIDES FOR YOUR BUSINESS, BUT FROM OUR EXPERIENCE, WE COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH HELEN.   My wife and I very much enjoyed our trip. It was clear that it would not have been reasonable to attempt such an itinerary without your organization handling the complicated logistics. Having both a local guide and driver allowed us to maximize the amount of time we had. It was clear that you have had experience with our itinerary, and have designed it well to provide a good balance of escorted and free time, and a comfortable number of activities to attempt per day.

We were happy with our local guides. Mr Wang Chun Lee in Urumqi and Turpan was excellent. Also exceptional was our guide and driver (Mr. Sun and Mr. Wang) in Lanzhou. We were somewhat disappointed with our guide Ben in Xian. He was very inexperienced. We were unhappy with the raw attempts to profit by only allowing us to visit "special shops" in Xian, particularly after it was clear that there were no governmental restrictions.

However, our time in Xian and elsewhere was very enjoyable, and I was surprised at how smoothly everything went. What attracted me to your company was having a tour with a very close match to our interests in (and time for) seeing both the Silk Road, and Tibet. We feel that your tour provided a good introduction to those areas, for a reasonable cost. My experience has shown me that the more one travels, the more places one learns of to visit next. We look forward to our next opportunity to travel with your company to explore the Silk Road west from Urumqi, through Kashgar and beyond.
