If I am from Hong Kong, holding the China travel card- do I need to issue a visa for Tibet ?
Also, I will travel with a friend holding a European passport- Is it possible to arrange a Single visa in this case (This friend has a valid visa to China) ?

If you hold the Home-visiting Certificate or SAR passport or Permit, you will not need a visa to visit tibet.

For your European friend, if he/she has a valid visa to China, that's no problem for him/her to enter Tibet. He or she also needs to apply for the Tibet Travel Permit to enter Tibet.

Generally, the best time to travel Tibet is from the end of May to the middle of October. So we suggest you go there between the end of May and the middle of June when the it is the dry season in Lhasa.

Hope you have a good trip and thanks for visiting tibettrip.com!
