Asked by tsering angchok (India)

that depends.
it would be easier if you book a tour through a travel agency.
as for the Tibet Permit, the latest regulation is that foreign visitors have to travel to Tibet in group organized by authorized Chinese travel agency, and the group should have at least 5 persons from the same country.

Hello,
I would like to get Tibet visa. Could your agency help me to do it for a fee without booking a tour? If yes, how much it would cost? Thank you.

Asked by Amber (China)

Hi Amber,
it is a Tibet Travel Permit but not visa you need to apply for the Tibet tour.
and, foreigners are not allowed to travel to Tibet individually, so you'd better book a tour.
Tibettrip (this website) is really good at arranging a tour. i had a great time during my Tibet tour last year.
