Hi Elcabron,

how much is the entry fee to those monasteries? Can I take pictures and use my videocamera, or do I need a permit and have to pay extra money for it?

At open areas in a monastery taking photo is acceptable but in halls agreement from the lamas is a must before taking pictures.Fees should be paid and this fee rises up with the popularity of the monastery.
Flashlight is also a must since it is very dark in a monastery.
