The hotels were excellent and the food was good.
The two suggestions I would offer to make the trip better is cut back on the number of sites to visit each day, and add some time for shopping.
Several families here in Saudi Arabia have asked about our trip and who we used. I have highly recommended your organization and if we were ever to return to China, I would not hesitate to use you again.
Thank you again for making our Chinese Experience so memorable.

We found the accommodations very comfortable. The pace of the tours was exactly right for us and we particularly appreciated the free time we had in Shanghai and Beijing.
Most of our guides were quite good. Jennifer (Shanghai) was very well informed and an absolute delight with her cheery, friendly demeanor! JoAnn in Wuhan knew quite a lot about the area and the city; it is too bad we had so little time to spend with her. Our guide in Chongqing was adequate. Echo, in Xian, was excellent! She was so well informed and taught us so much of the history and culture of China. She did not limit herself to Xian, but brought all of China to life for us. Echo was definitely our favorite guide. Cherry in Beijing showed us all the important sites and was very hospitable.
The vans provided were roomy and the air conditioning was very welcome. Flying from city to city afforded us extra rest and time to enjoy more of the wonderful places offered.
We felt had arranged a good tour, taking in the sights we really wanted to see and adding a few we had not realized would be so interesting. Our only complaint is the required stops at the government factories to see and purchase jade, silk carpets, terra cotta warriors, or whatever. We informed our guides we did not enjoy shopping, but could not get out of going to these many shops. Im sure we saw 3 jade factories and 2 or 3 silk outlets. It was too much and cut short the time we were able to spend in the museums, which were much more interesting!
The cruise aboard the Princess Elaine was excellent. The ships staff were courteous and knowledgeable. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The layout of the ship was excellent, offering us many different vantage points along the Yangtze River. Thank you so much for suggesting we upgrade to this 5 star cruise.

As comments on our trip, our favorite guide was Linda, who was with us in Xian. She is excellent, in that she is very friendly and funny, as well as knowledgeable. Peter, who was with us in Guilin, was nice and knowledgeable, but really needs to improve his English somewhat as well as to try and relax and smile and interact with his guests more personably (like Linda does).
It would be helpful, for future guests, that you make suggestions prior to travel regarding tipping of the guides and the drivers. Our tour books in the United States all state that tipping is really not done in China, but we quickly learned that is not true. It would have made things easier for us if you had indicated before our trip about a range of tips for those helping us in China, so we would have known what is expected.
If you are interested in having more American tourists go to China through your agency, it would probably be helpful for you to have an American travel agent or agency representing you. That way, more people would learn about your agency.
Thank you again for putting together such an excellent trip for us! Im sure we will be back to China again in the future!

The airlines flights were fine as booked (By the way, we were pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the airlines, flights/ baggage handling at all stops). We were also surprised that the flight from Wuhan, after our cruise, was at an earlier time than originally--again that was a good surprise.
The tour in Chongqing was very good and had been described well. The Victoria cruises was very good, and had been described well. They did a good job of accommodating the vegetarians in our group. Wuhan was fine. Xian was fine.
On the good side, the tours in Lhasa were very good. So, I would say that the entire trip, and your part in it were excellent, with the one exception that the Tibet hotel could have been booked earlier, or if full, we should have been told of alternative arrangements.
Thank you both for your help throughout, I would gladly recommend you to others who are planning a trip.

Your hotel selection, Crowne Plaza, in Beijing was the appropriate choice given its location and accessibility to nearby shopping.
Overall, your tour guide company helped make our short stay in Beijing an especially memorable one! If I ever return with my family to visit then I will be sure to contact you for similar service. Please feel free to use me as a positive reference for any future tour groups or individuals.
Thank you again for your gracious hospitality!!
