On your arrival in Beijing, the English speaking guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest day is at your leisure, so that you can have a good rest to recover from the long time journey.

2^nd Day: Beijing  (B+L+D)
In the morning, the pre-tour briefing will be presented in the hotel, which is very essential to your coming tour. Here you will meet the other members in your group who will travel with you in the following days. After that, your memorable China tour will start with the visit to the vast Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Just walk across the road to enter the splendid Forbidden City, the most complete complex of Imperial Palace reserved until now, where the Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties governed the country over 500 years. In the afternoon, continue the city tour to another highlight in Beijing, the Temple of Heaven. Ending the first day sightseeing, the renowned Beijing Roast Duck Banquet valued at CNY122.00 net per person will be served at the original, century-old Quan Ju De restaurant, followed by the National quintessence, a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

3^rd Day: Beijing  (B+L+D)
Today we will drive beyond Beijing to have a short hiking on the Badaling section of the Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient genius. What is a must to see once you come to China. The lunch will be arranged at a well-chosen local popular Sichuan food restaurant to reward your great energy lost in the morning. Then transfer to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Back to downtown to have a glance at the appearance of the Bird's Nest  afar. Then you will enjoy a luxurious a la carte dinner valued at CNY100.00 net per person at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. After dinner you can have one hour's free time to wander at the well-known prosperous Wangfujing pedestrian Avenue.

4^th Day: Beijing - Xian  (B+L+D)   
Visit the Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden for the royalties' relaxation, and the Giant Pandas in the Beijing Zoo in the morning. After lunch, see you off by the flight to Xian, another ancient capital for over 1000 years with credible historical sites. You will be met at Xian airport by the local guide and transferred to check in at the local best hotel, where the welcome buffet dinner valued at CNY170.00 net per person will be served.

5^th Day: Xian  (B+L+D)
After breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to visit the so-called eighth human wonders in the world, the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To ensure that you could have a good appetite, drive back by highway to downtown to have a rich a la carte lunch at CNY80.00 net per person at a Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the well preserved ancient City Wall in the afternoon. This evening we will arrange the Tand Dynasty Dinner show at the splendid Tang Dynasty Palace.

6^th Day: Xian  (B+L+D)

Visit the Provincial History Museum in the morning, which holds a large collection of unearthed historic relics. After enjoyed your a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person at a fine Cantonese cuisine restaurant, go on to visit a local family and the Great Mosque in the afternoon. You would have some free time to explore the Bazzar nearby for some souvenirs or little gifts for your friends. The dinner will be arranged at a well-picked Sichuan cuisine restaurant. You are suggested to have a good rest and make a full preparation for your coming trip to the high altitude Lhasa.

7^thDay: Xian - Lhasa  (B+D)
After breakfast, take the flight to the holy city, Lhasa. Be met and transferred to the local best hotel. You will need some time to get accustomed to this high altitude area. To ensure that you will have a enough rest time to adapt to this high altitude region, we will arrange your dinner at the hotel.

8^th Day: Lhasa  (B+L+D)
Full day tour to unveil this mysterious city. Visit the fabled and magnificent Potala Palace and the Sera Monastery. In the following, we will arrange a typical Tibetan family visit for you to have a glimpse of the Tibetan people's daily life. This evening, you will have an a la carte Sichuan flavor dinner at a local famous restaurant.

9^th Day: Lhasa  (B+L+D)

Today you will visit the Jokhang Temple, which is truly the center of Lhasa, as well as the Barkhor Street, the ancient flag-stoned pilgrim's path. Go en route to visit the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital. After lunch, continue to visit to the Norbulingka Park, where is the summer palace of Dalai Lamas. This evening the dinner is served at the hotel.

Shennong Stream, Yangtze Cruise

10^th Day: Lhasa - Chongqing  (B+L+D)
See you off by the flight to Chongqing and the local guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Have a brief city tour to visit the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. After a local flavored dinner at a local restaurant,  take you to embark on the luxury New Century Cruise to stay overnight.

11^th Day: Chongqing - Fengdu  (B+L+D)
After a good breakfast, you're advised to attend some activities arranged on the ship to make preparation for your coming Yangtze exploration. In addition, you will have an initial excursion to the Snow Jade Cave. This evening, Captain's Welcome Party  is a good chance to meet new contacts.

 

12^th Day: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping  (B+L+D)
Sailing through the Qutang Gorge, the shortest and the grandest of the Three Gorges and the Wu Gorge noted with its misty peaks in the early morning. Stop off at Badong to have an exciting side trip along the Shennong Stream in pea boats, steering between the well-wooden and cliffy hills to sense the natural spectacular scenery in a short distance. Return on board the ship and go on with your cruise sailing into the western section of the Xiling Gorge. Berth at the Three Gorges lock tonight.

 

13^th Day: Sandouping - Yichang - Shanghai  (B+L)
After breakfast, land at Sandouping to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Construction Project, which is the largest hydroelectric and flood-control dam in the world. Your grandiose Yangtze River cruise ends here. The local guide will meet you on board and take you to visit the Yichang Museum. After that transfer you to take a flight to the large metropolis, Shanghai. Be met and transferred to check in at the hotel. This evening is free for you to have a wander nearby to enjoy the beautiful night scenery of the City.

14^thDay: Shanghai  (B+L+D)
Visit the Shanghai Museum which is famous for its large collection of rare cultural piece, followed by the visit to the graceful Yuyuan Garden of Chinese traditional style. Huangpu River cruise tour will be arranged for you to have a shot at the different Shanghai. All of the eye-catching sightseeing ends here. The Farewell Dinner valued at CNY105.00 net per person is held at the well-known Wang Bao He in Central Hotel, which has 260 years history and serves the best Shanghai cuisine. After dinner, you will be entertained by the brilliant Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. Upon returning to the hotel our tour guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

15^th Day: Departure from Shanghai  (B)
