Visit the Qing Royal Garden - the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. Head for Xian by overnight soft sleeper train.

Your train arrives in Beijing in the morning. Your local professional guide will expect you athe the railway station with private comfortable transfer. Check into your hotel. Have breakfast at your hotel. You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Have a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum after lunch and a brief period of rest.

You are suggested to take a shuttle bus to the airport and the bus stop is very near to your hotel. Board the flight to Lhasa on your own. Upon arrival at the Gongga Airport, your professional guide will meet you with private comfortable airport-hotel transfer and check into your hotel in Tsetang.

As the cruise continues today, you will get to Shennong Stream, one of the most outstanding parts of the Small Three Gorges. To experience the ancient way of appreciating the wonders of the nature will be the highlight of today, including the hanging coffins, which remains a enigma even today, you will be likely accompanied by a guide of Tujia nationality at this part. Continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Pass the five-step ship lock.
