The festival will last until Aug.16th. Nakchu, located in the northern plateau of Tibet, has its own distinctive scenery and culture, such as the extensive pasture, the tent house, the folk dressings, songs and dances. This festival is the most famous horse-racing festival held in Tibet, and is often the must-see for travelers to Tibet during this period.
