Daily Itinerary Briefings

1St Day: Arrival in Beijing


Beijing Tian'anmen


Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be picked up by our professional English speaking guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest to recover from the jet lag.

2nd Day: Beijing  (B+L)

In the morning, our guide will give you a pre-tour briefing at the hotel and meet the other members in your group who will travel with you in the following days. Then, the memorable China tour will start with a visit to Tian'anmen Square, the largest city square in the world. After walking across the road, you will reach the splendid Forbidden City, the most complete complex of the Imperial Palace preserved in China, where the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties governed the country over 500 years ago. An a la carte lunch will be served for you at a famous local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue the city tour with a visit to the Temple of Heaven.  After then, we will arrange an exciting Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater.

3rd Day: Beijing  (B)

Today we will drive you to have a short hiking tour on the Great Wall - Badaling section, a symbol of great ancient Chinese genius. Drop by a jade factory. As the local restaurants are shopping restaurants with low quality, we suggest you have a big breakfast and take some fast food for your lunch. After that, transfer to a visit of the Sacred Way in the afternoon. Your day tour will be concluded by taking a look at the Bird Nest from a distance on the way back downtown.

4th Day:Beijing - Xian  (B+L)   

This morning, take a visit to the largest imperial garden, where the royal used to relax, the Summer Palace and then visit a pearl store. After the rich a la carte lunch, have a Hutong Tour, you will see the Hutongs by a special rickshaw riding around the narrow alleys to experience the Old Beijing’s life. Take a flight to Xian, another ancient capital with over 1000 years of history and incredible historical sites. Our guide will meet you at Xian airport and transfer to check in at the local hotel.

5th Day: Xian  (B+L+D)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to visit the eighth human wonder of the world, the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Drop by a pottery-making factory. To whet your appetite, you will enjoy the homely cooked dishes at a local family. Afterwards, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in the afternoon. In the evening, the special local Dumpling Dinner and the fabulous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will be arranged for you.

6th Day: Xian (B+L) 

Visit the City Wall and the Shaanxi History Museum in the morning. An a la carte lunch will be prepared at a well-known restaurant. After lunch, visit the Great Mosque, you will have some free time to buy some souvenirs in the local Muslim bazaar.

7th Day: Xian - Guilin (B)

In the morning, head for your next stop Guilin by flight, the city with exceptional beautiful natural scenery. Our guide will meet you on your arrival at Guilin airport and transferred to the local hotel. Then visit the Reed Flute Cave and a sea water pearl store.

8th Day: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (B+L) 


Yangshuo bicycle tour


Today you will take four and a half hours cruise down Li River to Yangshuo with lunch on board. On the way, you will fully enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Guilin’s natural scenery. We will arrange a short car transfer around the countryside, breathing the extraordinary clear air and taking a glance at the life style of the local people there. You will also have a chance to pay a visit to a villager's home. (Tip: Since the lunch box on the Li River cruise may not meet your expectation, we suggest that you have a rich breakfast at the hotel today.) After that, transfer you back to Guilin and visit the Elephant Trunk Hill. The hills and rivers here will surely freshen up your mind.

9th Day: Departure from Guilin to Nairobi (B)

Please go to the Guilin airport to board your onward flight to Nairobi by yourself. 


10th Day: Arrival in Nairobi, Airport pick-up   

Upon landing, you will see our local safari representative waiting for you at the airport. After receiving you, he or she will transfer you to the hotel and assist you in check-in. You are free to arrange the rest of the day. We suggest you to have a good rest, so as to get refreshed and ready for the upcoming Kenya tour packages featured by wildlife safaris.

 11th Day: Drive to Samburu National Reserve, Afternoon game viewing drive (B+L+D) 

Early in the morning we will drive to the first stop, Samburu National Reserve. The distance is about 300 kilometers (186 miles), and it takes 5 to 6 hours on the way. After arriving, check in the camp, get some rest after lunch, and take a game viewing drive in the reserve in the afternoon. After the safari, return to the camp and have dinner and stay overnight.

 12th Day: Full day tour to explore Samburu National Reserve (B+L+D)   

You will spend a whole day to enjoy game drive with packed picnic lunch in Samburu National Reserve. Until sunset, return to the camp, have dinner and stay overnight.

In National Reserve you can not only see the African Big Five - the lion, elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros, but also the African Special Five that are rarely seen in other parts of Africa, fine-striped zebras, reticulated giraffes, East African oryx, Somali ostriches, and gerenuks. When the weather is fine, you can overlook the snow-covered Mount Kenya in the park. After the game drive, drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

 13th Day: Drive to Aberdare National Park, Afternoon game viewing drive (B+L+D)  

After breakfast, we will drive to the next stop of our holidays to Kenya, Aberdare National Park, which is said to be one of the "God's homes". It takes about 4 hours to reach a distance of less than 200 kilometers (124 miles), and we will stop at a coffee and tea plantation on the way. Because it is rich in tropical rain forests and open swamps, many wild animals inhabit here. After arriving, check in Treetops Hotel. The wild animals here move freely under the trees. After lunch, have a break, and enjoy the game viewing drive in the park in the afternoon. Until sunset, go back to Treetops Hotel for dinner and overnight.

 14th Day: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, Afternoon bird watching and game viewing drive (B+L+D)  

Today we are leaving for Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way, we will see Thompson Falls, Kenya's largest waterfall. It's about 150 kilometers (93 miles) and takes about 3.5 hours. In addition to Lake Nakuru's famous flamingos, the black and white rhino sanctuary is also worth a visit. Upon arrival, check in the lodge and have lunch. Later we will have bird watching and game viewing drive in the afternoon. You could take a boat in the lake to closely watch the hippopotamus and the birds, especially the famous flamingos. You can also see Rothchild's giraffe here. Until sunset, go back to the camp for dinner.

 15th Day: Take a morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, Afternoon game viewing drive (B+L+D)  

This morning we are leaving for Kenya's most famous wildlife reserve, the Masai Mara National Reserve. It is more than 200 kilometers (124 miles) away, and it takes about 5 hours to drive on the way. After arriving, we will check in the lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will start the first game drive in Masai Mara. Until sunset, get back to the camp for dinner.

 16th Day: Enjoy full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve (B+L+D) 

Today is your full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve with packed lunch. You will follow your driver guide here to witness the world-renowned Great Migration that occurs from July to September every year. There are a large number of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, traveling a long journey of more than 3,000 kilometers (1,864 miles) northward passing the Mara River, and finally reaching the grassy Masai Mara National Reserve to survive. You can also see crocodiles and hippos in the Mara River. After the safari, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 17th Day: Drive back to Nairobi, Airport see-off, fly to Arusha (B)  

After breakfast we will drive back to Nairobi. The journey is about 300 kilometers and it takes 5 to 6 hours. We will drop you off at Nairobi airport and assist you with the boarding onto the overnight flight to Arusha. 


 18th Day: Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania (D)   

You will arrive in Arusha, the capital city of Tanzania. As one of places of origin for ancient humans, Tanzania has some unique cultural elements. It is also rich in wild animals, so during the following Tanzania tour packages, you will have chances to trace more wild lives on the African continent. 

After arrival, transfer to check in the hotel. The rest of the day will be for your own arrangement.

 19th Day: Tarangire National Park (B+L+D)  

The morning tour will take you to visit the Great Rift Valley. Then proceed to the Tarangirie National Park. The territory of the park extends to a common zone managed by two wild animal reserves and wild animals here are free to migrate anytime. Inside the park there are some elephant groups that most populate in Africa; among its sparse vegetation there scatter a few baobab trees and wattles, all of these make it an area of beauty and distinctiveness.

 20th Day: Lake Manyara National Park (B+L+D)   

In the morning you will travel westward to Grand Valley and today’s tour schedule will be the Lake Manyara National Park. In the Grand Valley, Lake Manyara appears like a diamond and it was once highly praised by Hemingway as “the loveliest place of Africa”. Manyara allows you to watch most wild animals with great density and it is therefore the virtual miniature scenic spot for Tanzanian’s wild animal zoo. Lake Manyara is the best birds’ life-watching site in Tanzania. There are over 400 kinds of birds on written record. Even at the first tour in Africa, you can watch more than 100 kinds of birds just within a day.

 21st Day: Serengeti – Ngorongoro (B+L+D)   

Today you will first head to the most famed national park in Tanzanian’s - Serengeti National Park. Along the way you will pass by Ngorongoro. Serengeti national Park, seated at the west of East Africa Grand Rift Valley, has already been listed into the World Heritage Sites. It’s a huge ecological system with more than 3 million large mammals. The vegetation is mainly open prairie plants, but almost all getting into desert area in dry seasons. The main plants are crabgrass, tail millet (typical plants in saline alkali soil). The park is widely famous for having most large scale of animal populations by far.

 22nd Day: Serengeti (B+L+D)   

The whole day will be spent in Serengeti National Park. You will have sufficient time watching wild animals inside it.

 23rd Day: Serengeti - Ngorongoro (B+L+D)  

Continue the tour in Serengeti this morning and then head forward to Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is also called Ngorongoro Crater. Inside the Reserve there are many other craters, plains and valleys, including recently hot scenic spot---Olduvai Gorge. Here is the earliest site to have discovered ancient humans.

 24th Day: Ngorongoro Crater (B+L+D)  

You will continue your trip in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After that you will go back to Arusha in the afternoon. Then take a good rest in the hotel.

 25th Day: Departure from Tanzania (B) 

The whole morning is free on your own. Then you will get to the airport for an overnight flight leaving Tanzania to Antananarivo in Madagascar.


 26th Day: Antananarivo arrival, Airport pick-up (D) 

Welcome to Madagascar! After arrival at the airport in Antananarivo, our driver-guide will pick you up and send you to the hotel, taking about 20 minutes. 

Madagascar is also an animal kingdom. But separate from the African continent millions of years ago, many animals are unique only to this island. Take your time and you will discover them in person during the successive Madagascar tours.

 27th Day: Departure from Antananarivo to Andasibe (B)  

Today we will drive along the RN2 to Andasibe. It takes about 4 hours. En route, make a stopover at the Reserve Peyrieras Madagascar Exotic to see the genus, reptiles and lemurs. Check in the hotel upon arrival and have lunch. At night, accompanied by a local guide, you will explore the areas around the hotel where some nocturnal lemurs, reptiles and chameleons often appear.

 28th Day: Mantadia National Park hiking tour (B)

In the morning, drive about 1 hour to the Mantadia National Park, where the local guide will escort you to explore the virgin forest on foot, looking for the largest Sifaka species (propithecus Diadema) and the ruffled lemurs and many other wildlife. It will last for about 5 hours. In the afternoon the driver guide will lead you to tour the Lemur's island and the reptile's farms. Stay overnight at a local lodge.

 29th Day: Discover the wildlife at Analamazaotra national park (B)

Today, we will explore the Analamazaotra National Park. More species of lemurs will come out during the day, including the world's largest lemur species - famous Indri Indri. The different species of wildlife are also very active. After the visit, we will drive to check in at the hotel near the Capital Airport.

 30th Day: Departure from Antananarivo to South Africa (B) 

Today our driver guide will see you off at the Antananarivo airport. You need to fly to Johannesburg on your own, and then connect a flight to Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa. Upon arrival, pick you up and transfer to the hotel to settle down.

The South Africa tours will officially start tomorrow. South Africa is located at the southernmost tip of the African continent and one of the richest countries in Africa, so it has more footprints of human beings and what you will see here is quite different from the wilder Kenya, Tanzania and Madagascar.

 31st Day: Cape Town (B)

Cape Town is the second largest city of South Africa and also the legislature capital. It once was the earliest stronghold built by western European colonist in southern Africa. So that’s why it is called the Mother City of all others. Due to its beautiful natural and geographic scenery, Cape Town is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and also a famous tourist attraction in South Africa. Today you will go to the Table Mountain on a round-trip cable car. Table Mountain means “city of cape” and it is a mesa in South Africa. People can have an overall view of Cape Town which including the busy scene of the whole harbor and the gorgeous seascape. The Nature Reserve of Table Mountain has more than 2000 kinds of endangered local flowers and plants and more than 150 kinds of birds and some other small wild animals including rock hyrax, baboon and leopard cat. In the afternoon, you are going to visit the wine manor and wonder around in those special streets of Cape Town. It would be so restful to the spirit.

 32nd Day: Cape Town (B)

Today you will tour some places of interest on Cape Peninsula. Clifton Bay-a famous exclusive residential district will be your first stop. Here you can see The Twelve Apostles which stand erect on the sea. If the weather condition is allowed, you can go to the Seal Island by yacht. There you can enjoy the scene that thousands of seals gather and play in the sea. After lunch, you will proceed to visit the Penguins beach. Then continue the tour to the famous landmark of Africa continent--Cape of Good Hope. Take a double cable car to the most top of it and overlook the magnificent scenery of intersection of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic.

 33rd Day: Cape Town - Robben Island - Cape Town (B)

First you will go to visit Green Point Stadium, the main stadium of 2010 World Cup. Danny Jordaan, chief executive of South Africa World Cup organization committee, described it as one of the three world’s best stadiums. Then proceed to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden where have more than 4000 kinds of African peculiar native flowers and trees, such as King Protea and moor besom. The cultural tour to Robben Island will start by ship in the afternoon. The ex-president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, was kept in Robben Prison for nearly eighteen years. He was sentenced to twenty-seven years in jail because he struggled against white rule and determined to pursue democracy.

 34th Day: Cape Town – Johannesburg (B)

Today you will first to do some shopping at the speciality handicrafts shops for souvenir. Then go to visit the ostrich farms. Ostrich Farms in South Africa have become world’s famous feather processing factories. The feather can be manufactured into serape, purse, belt and so on. Some of the ostrich on the farm are fed for feather and also observed by tourists. So you can learn how to feed them and what kind of ecological habits they have here. After the visit, you will take a domestic flight and fly to Johannesburg.

 35th Day: Johannesburg - Gold Reef City - Sun City (B)

The morning tour will take you to have an outside look of Soccer City, the opening stadium of 2010 World Cup. Then go to visit Gold Reef City which extends 220 meters underground. You can see around in person into the deep pit and learn how gold was made and also the process of turning gold-ink into gold brick. After lunch let’s go to visit Sun City-“Las Vegas of South Africa”. There are presented the extraordinary six-star hotel-Palace Hotel (an outside look) and luxury casinos and the Bridge of Time which was built based on mythology as well as the Lost City. Natural scenery is also very attractive here and you can take a walk to enjoy this leisure time.

 36th Day: Sun City - Mabula Game Reserve (B)

After breakfast, you can enjoy your free time inside the Sun City. Recommendations are self-paid horse-riding, boating, hot air ballooning and the Crocodile Farm visiting. Then let’s go to the famous Mabula Game Reserve, which is a must-visit place in South Africa. Upon arrival, you will take a convertible safari vehicle and shuttle in the reserve under the guide of professional tour guide to seek wild animals, such as elephants, lions and cheetah. It is full of exciting moments when you observe their natural eco-activities.

 37th Day: Mabula Game Reserve - Pretoria – Johannesburg (B)

This morning, you will travel to the administrative capital- Pretoria, which is also called the city of Jacaranda. The weather here is very pleasant and it is just the blossom season of Jacaranda. The city tour will begin with Pretoria Church Square followed by visiting Union Buildings and presidential palace. Then you will go to the suburb to visit the solemn Voortrekker Monument. At last, you are going to visit the South Africa Diamond Cutting Center where you can learn the whole process of diamond cutting.

 38th Day: Departure from South Africa (B)

Take a short rest after breakfast. Then we will send you to the airport for you to fly back home.
