Shannan: Yarlung Commercial & Cultural Exchange Festival to Held

The weeklong 2007 Yarlung Commercial & Cultural Exchange Festival will be held in the cradle of Tibetan civilization - Shannan on Dec 1st.

The Shannan Commodities Trade Fair and Yarlung Culture Festival, which are both important traditional festivals of the region, used to be held individually. It was last year that the two began to be combined. During the festival, various distinctive local artistic performances will be staged every day. In addition, there will also be a trade fair of local products of Tibet. The participant merchants are from all regions of Tibet and other places, such as Jiangsu, Sichuan and Ningxia.
