According to Lhasa Coach Station, bus fares in Tibet are to remain the same during the 2008 Chinese Spring Festival Holiday - a peak season of passenger flow in China.

With the increase of oil cost, most provinces and cities in China have decided to raise the bus fares during the next Spring Festival Holiday. However, in regarding to the drastic competition of Tibet railway, passenger transport capacity and other aspects, Tibet bus fares would not be raised.

It is said that the peak season of Tibet bus transport would come next January. In addition, recently hard seat tickets of trains from Lhasa to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Lanzhou and Xining are in demand. And all train fares in China will not change during the Spring Festival Holiday.
