EST, Feb 14, 2007 As a feature of 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Olympic torch relay on the highest mountain of the world, Mt. Qomolangma (Mt. Everest), has been well prepared according to the presentation of Tibet Sport Authority (abbr. TSA).
The vice director general of TSA said that the mountaineers who want to be candidates must have the climbing experience on mountains over 8,000 meters (26,247 ft). Most of the candidates, including several female mountaineers, have more than once experience on reaching the peak of Mt. Qomolangma.
