2008 Beijing Olympic Tickets Starts BookingPublished : 4:06 A.M. EST, Apr 17, 2007 Since Apr.15, Beijing 2008 Olympic Tickets has started to be sold within three periods. People in Tibet can get the tickets through three ways: the Tibet branches of Bank of China, the official website and the appointed hot line service. Bank of China is the only authorized Chinese bank to sell the Olympic tickets. There are four branches in Tibet: Tibet Branch, Shigatse Branch, Nyingchi Branch and Shannan Branch. In addition, the official website www.tickets.beijing2008.cn and the hot line 95566 of Tibet Branch are also available to get the tickets The sale of the tickets will be divided into three periods: the first period is April – June, 2007, when tickets can be booked from the official website and branches of Bank of China, and an account of Bank of China or a VISA card of any bank is demanded for the payment; the second period is October – December, 2007, when the booking system of hot line and payment by cash will be opened, but a successful buyer can only get a confirming letter of the tickets; the last period is April – September, 2008, when the tickets can be directly got from the Bank of China. It is reported that more than 7 million tickets will be on sale, over half of which are sold within China.
