Communication Network Covers All Climbing Routes on Mt. Everest in ChinaPublished : 1:21 A.M. EST, Nov 14, 2007 On November 13th, the testing of China Mobile network achieved success at the 6,500-meter (21,325-feet) station on Mt. Everest, the highest one in the world. Now all the camps and climbing routes on the mountain within China have been covered by the mobile network, which guarantees the communication when 2008 Beijing Olympic torch is relayed on Mt. Everest.
