Lhasa Airport: Flights Increased during May Day Holiday

To meet the high demand of Tibet travel during the May Day Holiday, Lhasa Gonggar Airport will increase the capacity of air transportation to 236 flights, with a total of 37, 000 seats.

One of the hottest air routes, Lhasa-Chengdu will increase 18 flights of 3,398 seats. And it is possible to enjoy a 40% - 50% discount if one buys a round-trip ticket within a certain time limit (Lhasa-Chengdu: Apr.28^th – May 3^rd; Chengdu-Lhasa: May 4^th – May 10^th). Besides, Air China will increase the Lhasa-Xining air route as of May 1^st, and Shenzhen Airline will increase the Lhasa-Shenzhen air route as of May 4^th.

As to Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the Lhasa Railway Station has promised to increase times and windows for ticket selling, ease entrance and exit obstacles, and provide other better services for travelers.
