Chongqing-Lhasa Air Route: Flights Increased to Six per DayPublished : 2:44 A.M. EST, Jul 4, 2007 With the coming of the peak season of Tibet travel, flights on the 'Second Routeway to Tibet'– Chongqing-Lhasa Air Route will be increased to six per day, according to Chongqing Airport.
At first there was only one flight operated by Air China on the Chongqing-Lhasa Air Route. Aiming at becoming the 'Second Routeway to Tibet', Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport had opened another two flights operated by Southern China and Sichuan Airlines respectively since last year. And recently the fourth flight has been increased by the Sichuan Airlines. Later in July, Air China and Southern China each will increase another flight, when there will be six round-trip flights running on this air route, with 1,550 seats on the whole.
